Internet marketing and the mindset required

The reason I named this blog Internet Marketing and the mindset required is because I truly believe that you can't be successful at anything that you do in life without the correct mindset.
However that doesn't mean that just because you get your mindset right that you will automatically be successful either. You have to marry thoughts and action to get results. As the saying goes with thought what you want is brought to you and with action it is received!!!!!
Integrated into my mindset posts for the next couple of months will be action step posts that you can implement. Theses action steps will all be based around what I am currently learning on the 30 day challenge. Yesterday was the start of the 30 day challenge and in the clip below Ed Dale runs through the four important steps you need to use to successfully market and sell a product online.

I first saw Johnny Wimbrey speak at a Money Masters seminar in Brisbane late 2007.At the time I was struggling with some issues I was having with my trading. Johnny was the first speaker to talk at the event. At the time I only use to pay lip service to the idea that you need to have the right mindset to succeed in whatever you are trying to do.I had read Anthony Robbins books and Think and grow rich and although I could comprehend the principles in these books I foolishly didn't think that they really applied to me. My way of thinking changed that morning, when Johnny speaks people listen, anyone who hears him speak live has to be effected by the message he delivers and the passion with which he delivers it. He has a great book titled from the hood to doing good which I would highly recommend to anyone.In it he talks about what he has had to overcome in his life including an abusive alcholic father and a mother who was a drug addict and abandoned himself and two brothers at an early age. He is a true inspiration and his message is that he believes that if he can achieve the level of success that he has than anyone else can as well. I first watched this video of Randy Pausch in late 2007, it's hard to believe as you watch this video that he is dying from pancreatic cancer. In the video he says that his whole life he has had fun and he isn't going to let a little thing like dying depress him. Randy is a true inspiration and the fact that even when he knew he had a limited amount of time left, he still felt that he needed to deliver this speech. Searching through youtube this morning I came across this link that said that Randy had passed away on the 25/7/08. If you want to see the epitome of being positive under impossible circumstance then watching this video is a must.

The most valuable lesson I have learned

When I was a kid I was lucky enough to live on a horse spelling stud for nearly a year. I took to horse riding really quickly and would spend countless hours on the weekends and weekday afternoons riding. It was during this 12 month period that I learnt one of the most valuable lessons’s that I have ever learnt. Only just recently I have come to the realisation of just how profound that lesson was. The lesson was given to me by my uncle and although it was a hard lesson to learn at the time it has kept me going when times have gotten tough. I don’t know that he even realizes just how important it is to live your life by this lesson. Most people don’t and I believe that this is a major reason behind a lot of people never living the life they desire.

The lesson was that every time I fell off a horse no matter how much I didn’t feel like it I had to get back on as quickly as possible. I now know why getting straight back on was so important. If you don’t get straight back on your mind has a chance to start eating away at your confidence and can turn a simple fall into a major drama. If you get straight back your mind doesn’t have the time to erode your confidence and your are quickly back to riding like nothing had ever happened. If you live your life the same way and jump straight back on ever time you fall or get thrown off, the quicker you will get heading back in the direction you need to be going to achieve your goals.

We all get thrown off from time to time I now know the secret is to get straight back on!!!

I have spoken before about changing your thoughts and words to change your reality.

In my next few posts I am going to cover some self limiting belief’s, that in my opinion are one of the main causes of people never achieving their desire’s and goals.

Number one top of my worst belief’s that was probable passed on to you by your parent’s is it won’t cost you any money just some of your time.

I am sorry if I offend anyone but this has to be one of the most ridiculous statements ever spoken.

Who reading this post knows how to make more money? Everyone reading this post should have their hand up, now tell me how many of you can make more time? Every second of every day is precious, when you can start to truly grasp this concept and that money is less important than your time you will literally start making huge progress towards your financial future.

You will often hear me speak about Johhny Wimbrey in my blog’s because of his exceptional insights and his ability to relate things to commonsense. I was listening to him the other day when he came out with this gem.

“You are closer to next year than you are to five minutes ago” once it’s gone it’s gone and there is nothing you can do to get it back

I believe that if you are privileged to be exposed to information that can improve yourself and your financial situation you have an obligation to act on it and create the situation where you can pass on your knowledge and impact the life of someone else.
